Paul’s entire career to date has been dedicated to the Retail industry in a Finance capacity, spanning Jewellery, Department stores and a multi brand fashion clothing group.

Arcadia Group is where Paul spent 30 years of his career, predominantly within the Group Finance function. He was responsible for a top down and bottom up reporting structure with annual turnovers regularly breaching £2b from its 3000+ outlets and 15+ websites, feeding a diverse audience from CEO to Store Manager.

Reporting spanned multi currency Sales, Margin, EBIT and Profit, encompassing all business channels, Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale and Franchise.

Paul was always heavily involved in business troubleshooting and routes to efficiencies, using his skill set for understanding problems and implementing solutions. He has worked with most business functions outside Finance, primarily Logistics and Buying & Merchandising.
